Cost Guide

Price By Film Type

Dyed Film

$120 – $250

Entry-level. Basic privacy and glare reduction. Fades over time. Not recommended in FL.

Carbon Film

$250 – $450

Mid-tier. Deep matte look, won't fade, ~40–50% heat rejection. Solid daily-driver choice.

Ceramic Film

$450 – $750

Premium. Up to 96% infrared heat rejection. Lifetime warranty. Best for Florida heat.

Nano-Ceramic / IR

$700 – $1,200

Top-tier. Maximum heat rejection with near-clear options. Ideal for Teslas and glass-roof vehicles.

* Ranges reflect full-vehicle install (7 windows) at certified FL shops.

What Moves The Price

Vehicle Size

Sedans run less than SUVs, trucks, or vans. More glass = more film and more labor.

Number of Windows

Two-front rolldowns are the cheapest add-on. Full vehicle (7 windows + rear) is the standard quote.

Film Type

Dyed is cheapest, ceramic is premium. The film itself drives 60–70% of the price difference.

Glass Curvature

Steeply curved rear glass (Mustangs, coupes) takes longer to shrink and install cleanly.

Old Tint Removal

Stripping failed factory or DIY tint adds $75–$200 depending on adhesive condition.

Warranty

Lifetime warranties cost more upfront but cover fade, bubbling, and delamination forever.

Common Questions

How much does it cost to tint a full car?+

Most full-vehicle tint jobs run $250 to $750 depending on film. A sedan in carbon film averages $300–$400; a Tesla or SUV in ceramic averages $500–$750. Premium IR ceramic on a glass-roof vehicle can reach $1,000+.

Is window tint worth the cost?+

In Florida, yes. Quality ceramic film pays for itself in reduced AC load, blocked UV (skin and interior protection), and prevented dashboard cracking. It's one of the few mods that improves daily comfort.

Why is ceramic tint so much more expensive than dyed?+

Ceramic film uses non-metallic nano-ceramic particles that block infrared heat without interfering with signals. The raw material and manufacturing cost is 3–5× that of dyed film, and the install requires more skill.

How long does window tint last?+

Dyed film: 3–5 years before fading. Carbon: 10+ years. Ceramic: lifetime of the vehicle when installed properly. The warranty length is a good proxy for expected lifespan.

Do you offer payment plans?+

Yes. We accept all major cards and offer financing through Affirm for jobs over $300. Ask when booking.
